About the Mesa Tactical Adaptor:
SYSTEM CONCEPT AND PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The most important capability of these adapters is to facilitate the use of collapsing or telescoping stocks, which provide a shorter length of pull (LoP) than the factory stock, which is especially important for law enforcement or “tactical” operators. In addition, these stock adapters accept a hydraulic buffer from Crosshair™ (They are an extra $100 if you wanted to add one to your kit) that reduces felt recoil. The Mesa Tactical Adaptor is by far the most robust and most effective of several shotgun stock systems on the market.

The GL-CORE incorporates an integrated cheek weld, ergonomic buttpad and interchanging tube adapters, that provide an unmatched fit on Mil-Spec and Commercial buffer tubes.
The CP version includes an additional Cheek Rest, designed to support the use of different optics and holographic sights on the AK and VZ platforms.

The GCCP Cheek Rest is for use on AK, VZ and shotgun platforms for use with optics such as EOTechs, Aimpoints, or other tall optics.
On the AR platform, the cheek rest may obstruct the use of the charging handle when the buttstock is fully collapsed, for use with an AR platform, we recommend removing the GCCP Cheek rest.
