Heat Shield to fit Mossberg 500 590 and 835 20-Gauge Shotguns
These fit the 20-gauge shotguns by using the smaller screws that are supplied with the kit. With a shop towel (To prevent marring) gently bend the 2 sets of ears to accommodate the narrow girth of the 20 gauge barrels. Install 2 screws and installation is COMPLETE!
WILL NOT FIT Vented Bird-barrels or Shockwave (but, possible with mods on Shockwave)
Heat shield is made from black high-quality steel and includes all necessary hardware. Includes 2 short bolts for thinner barrels and 20 gauge guns. Two longer screws for heavier barrels.
-Shield is 13.75 inches long.
-Barrel must be clear and smooth from the receiver 13 3/4" down the barrel (No mid-length sights).
-May need to bend shield to accomodate Magp*l forends (See youtube for mods.)
-Will not fit Shockwave without mods (If you mod it, send me a picture and the shield will be free)
-Fits ALL Smooth barrel lengths, including 18 inch barrels
-Will not add noticeable weight to your gun.
-Will not rust.
-Will not melt.
-Will not fit short "Breacher" model shotguns or 590A1 Or 590 Heavy Barrel model.
-Also fits a Maverick 88 great!
